September 17, 200520 yr Now is the time for the real fans to get on and the pretenders to get off. I think the line has been drawn in the sand. The real fans are still behind this team, the pretenders are gone. Its going to be a nice ride with this army of the true believers. You know there comes a time in every battle where things look grim. Do you know what determines the victor? Its guile. Its determinidation. Its belief that you can get the job done, that you will emerge as the victor. If you don't have this, then you just cannot win. I think there are many fans that have forgotten these principles. Sure today was rough, all wars have a few rough spots along the way. But we will recover. We will bounce back, you just have to put your head down and get to work. Know why? Because thats what winners do. That's what the great armies of this world have done and will always do. They all share this killer instinct. So that begs the question. Are you a true believer? Or do you step off when things look grim and the odds are against you? I think I speak for all believers. Its time grab that left nut. Its time to yell out and grunt loudly that you believe, that you will win. And for you ladies just grab an ovary and do the same. We the Marlins No Limit Army will lead this team to victory. When the pretender fans return, they will know in their hearts that they are not real fans, they will know that they are simply riding the wave of the dedicated fans of the dedicated players. Victory will be ours. Victory shall be great, it shall be glorious, it shall be amazing. The sky will light up like the Fourth of July upon our victory. May our bats be mighty, our gloves be soft and our arms be powerful.
September 17, 200520 yr I can't be entirely optimistic, but this team is not done no matter how demoralizing that inning was. Beating out two best pitchers and scoring ten runs in the ninth, can't get much worse than that. And the Marlins have to look at it that way too - you don't get into the playoffs on runs scored compared to runs against, it's a day-by-day sport. Beckett gives us a great chance tomorrow night, and if Milwaukee can manage not to get swept in Houston, we still have a chance. Lets all calm down, watch some other games and some good college football, and pick it up again tomorrow night. We should have gotten swept when the Marlins were up here in Philly, but stole the middle game from them. Today they stole one from us. Let's no read too much into it, it's baseball and not football, when the media would harp on the loss for six days.

September 17, 200520 yr Definitely the best post of the year. However, what the hell does "determinidation" or whatever you said mean? As for the "Marlins Stadium" thing; I kind of like how some of the guys on WQAM say it. "Dolphins Stadium, where the WIN MARLINS' CHAMPIONSHIPS." I find it hilarious considering what H. Wayne Huizenga did. Hell, let's mail our banners to John Henry just to remind him that we won 1 year earlier than he did for a fraction of the money that he said that he couldn't afford and let Aaron Boone deliver it. Also, send a copy to the Cleveland Indians using a Homestead return address and a custom Edgar Renteria stamp. Let's go fish!!!
September 17, 200520 yr I believe No Limit Marlins Commander. Tomorrow will we step it up as fans and the players will step it up. I believe. Tomorrow the new look Marlins will take the field. The Marlins baseball gods will not let todays game go unpunished. *grabs left nut*
