October 13, 200521 yr Well, if the marlins did move, 51% chance that will happen, I would like to see them move to, thats right, the Bahamas, whats wrong with that, get on a boat and go east for 70 miles, drink some Bahama yo mama's and look for jaws on the way back, oh I forgot, they dont like the warm water. Hey! maybe the locals will show up for the games, right.

October 14, 200521 yr Orlando. Attendance wouldn't be that much worse, would it? Orlando Fastest growing part of the state (Central Fla) unemployment around 3 %. Corp moving there from all over country.

Corp moving there from all over country. No doubt. This area has the people to support a team. That would be so awesome. Wishful thinking on my part. :evil
October 14, 200521 yr ''Why hasnt a mod locked this and why are people who hate the thread still bumping it'' becuase these people cant handle the truth.
October 14, 200521 yr The 19 Marlin fans are pissed off by this thread. I say move them somewhere where they'd truly be appreciated i.e. Brooklyn Or Pittsburgh! Oh wait... Pittsburgh Pirates NL Attendance Rankings Since 1979 10 out of 12 - Won World Series 6 out of 12 10 out of 12 12 out of 12 10 out of 12 12 out of 12 12 out of 12 12 out of 12 12 out of 12 8 out of 12 11 out of 12 6 out of 12 - Division Champs 8 out of 12 - Division Champs 7 out of 12 - Division Champs 12 out of 14 13 out of 14 14 out of 14 14 out of 14 12 out of 14 15 out of 16 14 out of 16 12 out of 16 11 out of 16 - PNC opens 13 out of 16 14 out of 16 15 out of 16 16 out of 16 - The conquering heroes reclaim their throne in 2005. I can only imagine what those numbers would be like if the stadium were 45 minutes outside of Pittsburgh. Maybe this topic is about the wrong franchise.

October 15, 200521 yr The 19 Marlin fans are pissed off by this thread. I say move them somewhere where they'd truly be appreciated i.e. Brooklyn Ouch that's harsh. But 19, isn't that about how many games the Pirates won last year? What did you think that it was a good idea to come into a marlins fan board and rip the marlins fans?
October 15, 200521 yr I HATE these attendance threads. Our fanbase is small. WE KNOW! Jeez... :pullhair I honestly think that if we get a new stadium in MIAMI more fans will come out. Pro Player is in the middle of nowhere and it's far as hell. I'm a big fan so I am willing to make the drive but a lot of casual fans hate the fact that the stadium is too far and choose to watch the games on tv instead.
October 15, 200521 yr The Stadium is pretty close to me.. if they put it downtown, I probably won't be able to go to one.
