I was just curious as to what others would think, it won't happen for a while, we should be good for a while but just curious as to what others would choose even though LV seems like the horrible choice to many

Yea, but I am just curious as to what others would choose, I am from NJ, thats probably why I sound so cold about it rather then someone who lives in Florida, sorry :(

even though I'd want this team to move real close to where I live...they belong in Florida! I'd want them to stay right there! :thumbup

I would like the marlins to move to jacksonville, i honestly think they would draw more fans and the weather wouldnt be as much of an issue . Plus the counties surrounding Jax are some of the fastest growing in the country to potential to develope a large fan base is there. I dont think the Marlin will move to Jax but at the very least they need to make more of an effort to attract North Florida fans

Marlins need to market more to the state. FSN Florida has the reach, market so you get ratings dammit! Get Neilsen to measure outside of just the South Florida markets.

North Broward/Palm Beach

Actually, just got an Independent LEague team here this year. Ryan Minor and ex-Marlin farmhand Quincy Foster play here. Not very exciting baseball. I wish it was a A farm club instead. Can't have AA since Harrisburg and Reading have one (Nationals/Phillies) and would infringe on their territories. Would love to have a A Marlins team in town. Haven't been to the minor league games much since Portland went to the Red Sox...

Orlando.

Attendance wouldn't be that much worse, would it?

Comic book guy says - Worse....thread.....EVER.

thats f***ing awesome

Nothing like having two teams with poor attendance an hour away from each other. :plain

The 19 Marlin fans are pissed off by this thread. I say move them somewhere where they'd truly be appreciated i.e. Brooklyn

The new Brooklyn Dodgers would be sick. I'd root for that team.
