rferry
Does anyone else think a team with Cabrera, Hermida, Willingham, Castillo and probably atleast one of LoDuca, Delgado and Pierre on the offensive side, with Willis, Vargas, Olsen, Mota, Villone, Bump and the fruit of the recent drafts on the pitching side along with some cheap free agent options like Rich Aurilia or Tony Armas Jr and future acquisititions through trade could finish the year at or near the .500 mark that the veteran and well compensated 2004 and 2005 teams barely reached and that only four Marlins squads have reached before? wanks1212
Yeah, it's definitely possible, but depends largely on what the Marlins do from here on out in terms of filling out their rotation and bullpen.
IrishHarrington
I say no , the problem with alot of young players is they are all learning on the job, even great pitchers usually struggle the first few years as they learn to pitch. plus i have no confidence in Mota (if he is still here )Â But i dont think they will be DRAY bad I see the Young Marlins winning 74-79 games
PBMarlin
Yes, if the younger team and coaching staff regains the excitement they had in 2003.
Hugg
I really want Tony Armas Jr. I need to see the rest of the roster before I can say what I think we can do, but I think the team will be very fun to watch.
MikeLowell
I will laugh my arse off if we somehow win the division this year after all the money we put in the last couple of seasons.
CyggyMarlin
If the right talent comes back in after any future trades (Delgado/JP/etc..)...I think this team will do well...not great, but will be fun to watch and not embarassing like '98 was... Guest Fritz
The 2005 A's did it with less talent. I am a firm believer the Fish can do it.

Hustles
I say yes. Marlins seem to do better as underdogs anyway. No one outside the Marlins community will be giving this team a chance and thats when they seam to be the most dangerous even despite their youngness. and like Ramp said, next season should be alot of fun, def looking forward to it.
