If you are the Texans.........

Are they not sold on Domanack Davis? As far as what I've seen that kid is a stud if they had a better line. I would draft Young.

Trade down to the Jets and draft D'Brick

they already have a RB and QB, doing this would add a stud on the o-line and give them more picks this year and next year

well maybe if he would stop getting hurt.

and reggie bush is much much better than davis.

Bush > Davis, though I'm still not so sure he'll do as well as Vince will in the pros. But they probably feel Bush is a much greater upgrade over Davis than Young is over Carr.

you trade down and draft d'brickashaw

You could get a lot from the jets even for a couple spots if it allows them to draft reggie

Trade down, the Jets would overpay huge for the Bush pick.

There is much more wrong with that team than just Reggie can fix.

If you're the Texans you don't draft Vince Young or Matt Leinart (especially Young). Either way, with Bush, or trading down to the Jets you get something to build on.

That being said, I think this is one case where you have GOT to listen to the fans and draft Reggie while working to get a line to help him and Carr out. You've got to stay dedicated to Carr for number one not getting hurt while getting his ass kicked for so long and number two being a less than decent quarterback with all the doodoo around him. The kid deserves to start at least a season with SOMETHING.

Wouldn't listening to the fans mean they draft Young and trade Carr elsewhere?

I like how some people think they can just go out and buy a top offensive line with no worries.. its not that easy. If it was that easy, they wouldn't be sending out some of the worst offensive lines in the history of the NFL year after year after year. They need to trade the pick and stack up on offensive lineman and defensive players, areas that are actual needs... its a no-brainer in my opinion.

No, at the last game they were chanting "Reggie, Reggie, Reggie!" Not "Vince, Vince, Vince!" That's what that was in reference to.

That was also before the Rose Bowl, was it not?

well, that's what espn wants us to believe.

the notion of trading carr for spare change so you can draft young is absolutely retarded.

Draft Reggie, then trade him to the Jets for their 1st, a 2nd, and a 1st next year.

Trade down or draft and trade with Reggie/Leinart/Young, whoever would fetch the biggest haul

I would take Bush, he's one of those running backs that you only see maybe once a decade. There are still a lot of uncertainties around Young and Leinhart, so I would avoid them.
