Teaser trailer (didn't know if it was posted already):

It's a fake. All those scenes were just edited pieces of the first two.

I would wager a guess that you didn't watch?

They had some clips from previous movies (graveyard, etc) but a lot of new stuff (several topher grace caps and a couple of Harry Osborn as the Green Gobin 2?)

I stand corrected, it also has some scenes from In Good Company.

So is the part with Topher changing colors from that movie? I really don't know, haven't seen it.

No, but all you have to do is digitally alter it on a computer. It's not really that hard to tell. You'd think there'd be a scene with the two of them on screen at the same time if it were real.

My computer only allowed me to watch it really broken-like because it was constantly loading and buffering (I guess) so I thought it would have been more fluid and coherent in actuality...guess not.

Parts of that were obviously ripped from the first film. The Green Goblin's color was just changed.

However, that Venom stuff looks real.

ok so whats the deal with him wearing black?... i dont remember this from the cartoon way back in the day, i assumed this was venom

In the comics Spider-Man gets his costume ripped off or burnt off on another planet. An alien symbiote black costume is given to him and he wears black. Turns out the alien costum is trying to bond with Peter Parker and he doesn't want it to, so he kicks it to the curb and continues wearing a black costume. Goes back to red and blue soon after Venom introduces hisself.

OMFG that was awesome.

Hopefully we get a little less emo/teenage angst and a bit more action and the witty, snide Spidey I remember from the cartoon.

Yeah, it will be interesting to see why he goes for the black costume.

Especially since I thought that things were looking up for him after #2 (except for almost everyone discovering his true identity).

They put a lot more in that trailer than I expected:

-Parker and Gwen Stacy dancing

-The "suit" latching on to Spidey

-Sandman attacking

-Harry Osborn as Green Goblin II (in a black suit with no mask)

-Eddie Brock (played by Topher Grace) saying "Parker!"

-Harry and MJ looking like they're about to hook up

-Black suit Spiderman attacking Cain Marko (aka Sandman)

-For some reason, a pumpkin bomb exploding next to Harry's face, not sure why

What I remember from the cartoon is that a substance is brought back from a shuttle mission. As Spider-Man saves the shuttle, the substance attaches to him and he fully wakes up wearing the black costume. Now later on after wrapping Eddie Brock up in the web in a bell tower, Peter realizes that the costume is alive and its trying to take control of him. So he gets as close to the bell as possible and due to the noise, the symbionte (sp?) lets Peter go. It then flows down and becomes one with Eddie.

That's the cartoon, not the comics. He loses it in the Secret Wars.

But the rest of what you said, how Parker rejects the costume, is pretty similar to the comics. The symbiote is the ex-girlfriend from hell.

I know, Buckeye. That's why I said it was from the cartoon :cool

I keep getting a broken link with QuikTime...

Can I somehow get it in Windows Media or Real Player (or something)?

will need to look on U tube for it

I wonder if we will see the lizard as the last "villian" and curious of Electro, vulture and black cat.

black cat could be fun :)

Can't wait.

The first movie had some pretty good special effects..I assume the budget wasn't THAT big (i.e--some fake scenes of him swing mid air)

The second movie dwarfed the first visually

And I hope the third is even better! Storyline is the big issue, obviously. Let's see if they pull it off.

What do you think of the black costume? At first, it just looked like a re-design of the classic red and blue, but looking closer it looks like its own costume instead of just a variant. And, that said, it's growing on me.

The symboite reaching out and grabbing Peter looks like it'll be intense.

The Sandman looks awesome, and Thomas Hayden Church is a great actor. Excellent casting.

Not sure why Gwen Stacy was introduced(blonde girl, standing close to Peter), unless it is just to truly make Harry evil, by killing her(slight variation of the comics, where Norman killed Gwen), or it's a vehicle to introduce the Jackal. The whole cloning storyline might get a bit convoluded though.

Harry's Green Goblin costume looks blah to me right now, but it might grow on me like the black costume has.

Topher Grace was a good casting as well, since they are basing the movies more on the Ultimate Marvel universe, and in UM Eddie Brock is a skinny nerdish fellow and not a Mr. Olympian like in 616 reality. If they had went with the big bad Eddie Brock, HHH would of made sense as a casting. Just my opinion though.

All in all, the trailer and screen shots look awesome. And this movie is still a year away(or 10 months), but damn it I really cant wait.
