Welcome Back Kotter

Why is this necessary?

Not a show worth making a big screen movie about

*Still waiting for Greatest American Hero movie tho*

Kotter and Greatest American Hero < their theme songs

I love the show and I love the idea of making a movie, but I don't know about Ice Cube actually playing Mr. Kotter.

I dont see the point of this but I love this show. The show was from way before my time but my grandma got me hooked to it, and I am always watching it when I can find it on TV and even bought the DVD that they have at Best Buy.

Wrong

when most people think of either show, the first thing that comes up is the theme songs

doesnt mean i dont like the shows, it just means their songs were that great

This is almost as bad of an idea as Cedric the Entertainer playing Ralph Kramden.

Or the Wayans Brothers making a Munsters movie (in production).

I'm not racist but why does Hollywood feel the need to turn these shows into black movies? If God forbid someone made a "The Jeffersons" movie with Tom Selleck and Michelle Pfeiffer in the lead roles the black community would be up in arms about the whites stealing and "caucusizing" their stuff.
