Completely agreed. I wonder if Arnie would post a quote by Hutton praising Looper when he gets the job done every other time? Im guessing not.

considering Looper has been one of the best closers in baseball this year(except for Gagne and Smoltz who dont count because they are gods), he should love Braden

Looper didn't lose this game....Jack McKeon screwed up royally by using Looper last night and then not taking him out after the game was tied. As I said in another post...senility tends to come out with Jack every couple of weeks.

Looper should not be closing. Hopefully Jack realizes this before it smacks him in the face any further.

Looper should not have been closing today. Ugy was on a roll, should have left him in to finish them off. Third straight day pitching, do you expect perfection?

 

And I'll admit, I'm not exactly comfortable when Loop comes in. But he's our guy, and I've got faith in him. Leave him there, just use him properly.

Yeah you hit the nail on the head Juanky. Looper was burnt out. It was a tough loss to swallow, but hey, we are the mothaf***in' Marlins arent we? Looper will rebound , the team will rebound, and we will win the wild card.
