Indians TV announcers taking a crack at the Marlins

Featured Replies

So during the Red Sox and Indians game today, the Indians play by play guy was talking about Mike Lowell and how he was a "former Marlin," then the Indians color analyst goes...

"Well, I think you say that that about a player on just about every major league roster."

:lol

hmmm...I think someone's just bitter about 1997 :D

You can say the same thing about the Indians....Bartolo Colon...Jim Thome...Manny Ramirez...Kenny Lofton...

they pretty much invented the "let's build a new stadium and never pay any of our players until they leave" method of running a baseball team. Although, I guess with some of the more recent deals they've changed their ways.

I only listed one former Marlins for each team, even though some have more than one. 23 of the 30 MLB teams have at least 1 former Marlin on their 25 man roster.

You know a show-down I'd love to see?

All time former/current Expos against all time former/current Marlins...in San Juan. :shifty

Sure it's true. But the same can be said about every other MLB team as well.

I have to listen to these geniuses every night as my dad watches the Indians.

They are the worst announce team I've ever heard.

Thus, they can say whatever they want about the Marlins, because they don't even know how old Grady Sizemore is.

Not funny in the sense that it's just not funny, not in a "oh no, my team was insulted, I must defend them" sort of way.
