May 17, 200620 yr hes been hurt and hasnt picked up a baseball from what i been hearing from reports. jobo is all we have for right now until our other ppl get healthy and show they can throw strikes
May 17, 200620 yr Ah, thanks CY. I think Borowski will probably be fine. If not we can always give some of the kids a shot. Petit, Pinto, Sanchez, etc. Why not. Certainly Carlos Martinez will get his opportunites if he comes back healthy.
May 17, 200620 yr Two words for you... Taylor Tankersley.....hopefully this converted starter can come in and become a Jonathan Pappelbon type clone. Also, Carlos Martinez has the stuff to close when healthy.

Are they putting something funny in the water these days? Messenger clearly does not have the mindset to close games. Not sure if he ever had it but maybe someone stole his mojo. Borowski blew a save. It happens. Chad Cordero does it all the time. Im not saying Borowski is the answer to the bullpen atrocities but unless were gonna get creative and give Pinto or Petit a shot to close games I think our only option is to keep giving the ball to Borowski.
