May 28, 200620 yr We have been waiting and waiting for him...We know that he will make a big splash in our lineup. However we hadn't even had a bit of his potential this season. He had an awesome game today. Hope it will be one of many that we see from him. Hopefully the injury is behind him once and for all. He is too good of a looking of a player. We need him!
May 28, 200620 yr went to the game today and he looked good in CF actually lol. his blast to RF was a beauty
May 28, 200620 yr went to the game today and he looked good in CF actually lol. his blast to RF was a beauty I heard on the radio that Hermida is really a CF'er. The Marlins drafted him as one and then he moved to RF.

Though at the plate he deffinitly has right fielder power.
May 29, 200620 yr Hermida isnt "here" yet. Let's see him go on a 6 or 7 game tear If he catches fire, this lineup could get scary very quickly
May 29, 200620 yr saw that homerun he hit today had a nice day going 2-4, now we need him to continue it. if he gets on fire imagine how our lineup is going to look.

I always thought he had good speed but the Mets anouncers were saying he isnt that fast but I always thought he was pretty quick.

May 29, 200620 yr Am I the only one who thought Hermida was limping as he snagged a flyball in left center late in the game?
May 29, 200620 yr Am I the only one who thought Hermida was limping as he snagged a flyball in left center late in the game? He glides when he runs so it sometimes looks like he is limping. We will find out today around 5pm if he is in the lineup.
May 29, 200620 yr Am I the only one who thought Hermida was limping as he snagged a flyball in left center late in the game? didnt see it, hmm. I hope he wasnt limping. But he looked good overall out there. I want him in the 3 or 4 hole personally still. 1 Hanley 2 Uggla 3 Hermida 4 Cabrera 5 Willingham 6 borchard 7 Jacobs/Willis when he pitches 8 Olivo Flip 3/4 depending. But I think his eye before cabrera is good to have.
May 29, 200620 yr Hanley Uggla Hermida (I like him here because he gets on base) Miggy Hammer Jake Borch/Ross/Reggie Olivo/Treanor Pitcher
May 29, 200620 yr Hanley Uggla Hermida (I like him here because he gets on base) Miggy Hammer Jake Borch/Ross/Reggie Olivo/Treanor Pitcher No disrespect Miss Holly, but Cabrera is getting on base at a .436 clip

If Hermida gets on base before Miggy.. Miggy can drive him in. The more people in front of Miggy (I don't mean bat Miggy 8th) the more likely he will drive in more. Just my opinion.
May 29, 200620 yr Hanley Uggla Hermida (I like him here because he gets on base) Miggy Hammer Jake Borch/Ross/Reggie Olivo/Treanor Pitcher have to change that for lefties, hanley and uggla have been tearing up lhp and hermida been struggling aganist lhps

I would much rather have Cabrera batting in the first inning with a few guys hitting well over .300 than put Hermida up there right now(yes, I realize Herm is a walk machine) Let him get his legs in the 5-6-7 hole first
