I guess in years gone by we've been spoiled by shutouts from Beckett, Willis, A.J, Pavano, Penny, etc... and this year we still haven't had one, despite our starters being very consistent this year, and despite having the best team ERA in June (2.89).

I think it's only a matter of time before it happens, so who do you pick?

I'm tempted to go with JJ as he's been our ace lately, but I have a feeling that the D-Train isn't too far away from breaking one out so I'm gonna go with the D-Train.

DTrain has my vote for a different reason. I don't think Girardi is going to let any of the kids get above 110 pitches in a game regardless of the inning until late in the season.

We may not see a complete game shutout for awhile...Our kidz are just rookies, joe G wouldn't want to overexpend their arms plus we have "THE SANDLOT" with 5 excellent relievers our starters just need to throw 6 or 7 innings, the sandlot kidz will shut down any team!

Joe has become very confortable with the Pen. If he wanted to, nolasco would have had the first SHO. It might not happen until Joe really feels they have the ability to do it without side affects on their pitching. If a pitcher is young and throughs a CG early in his career, somtimes it hurts. L:ook at how Mitre did AFTER he shut us out, look how Vargas played AFTER the CG against the dodgers

JJ's been the most dominant as of late, so i'll go with him. by the end of the year, i think willis will have the most CG shutouts..

Its hard to say because everyone is capable of doing it.
