i go with reggie ...he has a future-(hopefully). i don't see how conine can contribute to this team.. i love niner, and his restaurant, but reggie is younger and has more potential.

Umm.. Conine because Niner has proven to us he can hit. We are still waiting for Reggie to prove to us he can hit consistantly.

Reggie because Conine chose the O's over the Fish. Enough said!

Reggie. Reggie is still young and can improve, and he has speed and plays decent defense. Conine, at this point in his career, really doesn't do anything that well and it is highly doubtful he will improve.

 

When 2 players are putting up similar numbers, give me the one that is 14 years younger.

I respect Conine. I'm insulted by the way he ended his tenure here, but whatever on that.

 

Thing is, neither are producing, but Reggie can play center and steal bases (even if he isn't the strongest at 'running' them).

Conine, I'd have a more difficult choice choosing between Reggie and Herpes.

 

Reggie is a never was and never will. At least Jeff would at least be a has-been.

Conine: Had the third best season of his career at the plate with a .303 batting average.

 

Reggie: Steadily gets worse, not better.

I agree with part one, but what is his potential? A struggling young player who with potential still shows the ability to swing where the ball is. Reggie just swings and sometimes the ball runs into the bat. STill, no place for Conine here, Helms probably would not be here if Niner signed on and Helms is so much more versatile.

You do realize we got choices all over the league.
