July 27, 200620 yr If Madden had the same type of gameplay or feel of the game that the NCAA series (my favorite sports game) had, I'd be all over it. It just seems too Arcade-like for my tastes. totally true statement. ncaa football is far and away my favorite sports game there is.
July 28, 200620 yr IMO, NCAA doesn't come near to matching Madden's realistic-ness. At least that's how it used to be. NCAA has closed the gap, but is still less realistic.

NCAA might be more fun (I don't always think so), but it doesn't have nearly as realistic of gameplay, though that's not necessarily a bad thing.
July 29, 200620 yr any early reviews of NCAA 2007???? i love it...so much fun...sound is a little weak, graphics are amazing(of course...you can even see neck hair), animations are vastly improved, no players floating through other players or walls or whatever, playbook set up is pretty good, giving you options between formations, star players, previous plays, etc. the kicking meter is used by the right thumbstick which gives kicking that extra "kick" of realism...the one thing that stands out to me, is the canes dont run through the smoke to enter the field which is kind of disappointing...also, no race for the heisman mode on the 360...one thing that is cool though is they added the instant replay challenges for the leagues that actually use it...ive played like 8 games so far and i feel like i have barely stratched the surface as to what this game has to offer...hope that helps...overall...8.5/10
July 29, 200620 yr I've heard that it's basically the same game though as last year.... meh, i didnt have last years game, so i really couldnt tell ya...but for a 360 sports experience, its very very good :thumbup

Fuggin' EA is lazy. yeah...but its not like 2k did their homework and makes vastly superior games either...the real loser in these official licensed games is the fan...they have to shell out the money to pay for baseball or football games that could be better with a little competition

Yeah, the dynasty mode on the 360 isn't very deep, which pisses me off even if the graphics are incredible and the gameplay is damn good. It's still fun but it's basically the same dynasty from the old versions with no cool new features. They also don't have that super create-a-player mode they had last year on regular Xbox, but I don't care about EA leaving that out because I felt that feature sucked. The thing they left out that really makes me angry is there is no create a school feature on the 360. That pwned.
July 30, 200620 yr Good as time as any to state I hate these exclusive license deals. I want options in my games especially for baseball. Bring back MVP Baseball with MLB players!! i wasnt that disappointed about the NFL thing because im a Madden guy anyways, but losing MVP really sucked That's the thing that really angers me. MVP was a sweet game. Other baseball alternatives are lame.
