LMAO.......Eagles at 7-9.......they may start 8-2 or 7-3 and their not losing 6 straight to end the season.

Washington may win the division but the Eagles will get a wild card....two of the NFC east teams may get wild cards.

Solid. It's real hard to criticize predictions because by nature it's all guesswork anyway, so I'm not gonna go that route (and I hate people who do criticize predictions). As long as you have some solid, logical reasoning behind them it's cool.

I do wonder, though, why are you so high on the Chargers and Giants? Personally I don't like either team very much for many reasons, though I guess if Eli is the MVP the Giants probably would finish about that well. I'd also be interested in why you believe the Falcons and Seahawks will do so poorly relative to what others (including me) think.

I don't think his 7-9 Eagles prediction is crazy either. They might do better but it's not hard to see them struggling.

It's kind of silly to complain about predictions. Of course these are going to be laughably wrong by the end of the season. That's just the way these things go. It warms my heart to see the Dolphins having the best regular season in the AFC and hosting the championship game. I don't see that happening, really. I think the Colts will be the regular season champs again. But that would be pretty crazy if it did happen. Think about it. The Dolphins would have home field advantage throughout the entire playoffs, INCLUDING the Super Bowl. The fans down here would go nuts.

I don't have a prob with the Eagles prediction. Sure, they could get a wild card. They could also suck as bad as last year. Who knows?

Your win totals on the Rams and Falcons do seem a little low, but that's cool, you're just sticking your neck out on those a little. I think the Saints will be much improved as long as Brees is healthy. Brees, Deuce, and Reggie Bush could make for a lot of offense.

Yeah, and fire might shoot out my ass. You still can't run the ball, you lost your best receiver and think that Reggie Brown can replace him, your defense is hardly improved, and you play in what looks like the toughest division in football. 7-9 is gracious.

It is very flattering to see the Giants predicted in the SB, but realistically a lot of things need to go right for that to happen. I'd say a berth in the playoffs and a exit in the divisonal or conference round in more likely.

The end of the schedule for the Eagles is just BRUTAL. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. They end with Atlanta at home, which isn't SO bad, but the 5 games before that:

AT Indianapolis

vs. Carolina

AT Washington

AT New York Giants

AT Dallas

Are you kidding me? Three road games in a row vs. their division foes. And the Carolina game is a Monday nighter, which means they start that trip on less rest. The Eagles need to start 7-3 at the very worst.

I can't see Cincy making the Superbowl. Their defense is still just too iffy, but I like that offense a whole lot.

They've made a lot of improvements and adjustments plus we've got guys coming off of injury who are going have a big impact.

It's a long season and we're a "wait and see type of team" coming out of the group of death. So, we'll see.

falcons at 4-12?! HA

Not out of the question. Playing in what is probably the most competitve conference, with a revamped Saints team, a very good Tampa Bay team, and a (imo) vastly superior Carolina team who went to the NFC championship game and have improved over last years team.

The NFC South should be between the Panthers and Bucs, the Saints could be trouble, and I have serious doubts that the Falcons are as good as any of those teams. Not saying they will, but the Falcons could have 6 losses in conference alone.

Their defense isnt good and they have a QB who, if defenses force into the pocket, has no chance of beating you.
