August 29, 200619 yr the NHC is still predicting it to be a storm when it gets here. also my school is making us go today... LAAAAAAAME. It won't be the first time the NHC downgrades a storm and then it is the opposite.

Holly... common, you supposed to use the day off to make sure that everyone thats important to you knows that you're planning some kind of Marlins watch party. Either that or yeah, go lay in the sun... I love free days.
August 29, 200619 yr Yeah official mess up on this one. I guess they are not taking any chances base on last year. I'll take it though.
August 29, 200619 yr It'll have about half a day to restrengthen now...we'll see what that does to the winds and pressure.

August 29, 200619 yr Author ALL SCHOOLS CLOSED WEDNESDAY. This is hallarious why hilarious? 1) Look outside. 2) look at the radar for Ernesto. Notice its most powerful cells are as big as Hialeah, and barely as strong as a 4:00PM Afternoon summer thunderstorm. 3) Because B4P hasnt convinced me otherwise yet, and he is all knowing.

Now you are convinced, or byebye left lobe.

August 29, 200619 yr I now think that Ernesto will not make it back to Cane status. But the potential is still there.
August 29, 200619 yr For those who missed it live, go to www.local10.com and click on the video at the top right of John-Henry Smith interviewing Brooke and Hulk Hogan at the airport. Good, good stuff.
August 29, 200619 yr :lol Big Pappa Hulk Hogan's taking care of the Hurricane...I feel fantastic now.
August 29, 200619 yr If it slows down even a little bit, which I don't expect, it may finally intensify. Its got overall good organization and it should start gaining some punch. I am sitting borderline on cat 1 to high end tropical storm right now.
August 29, 200619 yr They said the pressure was rising which doesn't indicate that the hurricane is in the process of strengthening.
August 29, 200619 yr They said the pressure was rising which doesn't indicate that the hurricane is in the process of strengthening. It hasn't done much in the way today, just fluctuated pressure wise. But the pressure at 2 PM is extrapolated and you always take that with a grain of salt give or take a few millibars.
