They were fantastic wins over the SF Giants although Jack did his best to lose (again) by leaving his starter in too long!!

Question? Who would rather the Marlins play....Cubs or Braves?

Do you think McKeon and Co. will tweak their roster or stay with the 25 they had in this series?

i kinda wanted to play the braves since we do well against them but i reall dont think it matter. our momentum and energy is so great we are ready to take on anyone!! BRING IT!!!

I'd rather play in the Ted then in Wrigley, but the Braves offense isn't nearly as scary as Zambrano, Prior and Wood.

The Cubs only edge us is starting pitching, that's scary with 5 game series, but I believe that on a 7 game series is a different story.

I am not going to have a favorite as to who I want to play. None of what we did in the regular season matter now, because we were horrible against the Giants, but we just killed them. I refuse to be intimidated by the 'scary' Cub's pitching staff, because SF's staff was also 'scary'.

We werent Exactly Horrible against the Giants. sure were were 1-5 but all of em were 1 or 2 run games...

Plus, it is like 45 in Chi-town and like 65 in ATL.

Actually, the temperature this week wont be much different in Atlanta and Chicago. Playing in Atlanta wont be playing "in the heat" as Lee put it, this isnt July anymore.

The temp. you put did not include Wind Chill. The wind chill not the actual temperature is what kills you in Wrigley.

Winds in Chicago will be less than 10 mph and out of the south-southwest (not the cold winds off the lake). Yes, I understand meterology, I used to be a meteorology major in college. Im just saying its not going to be hot in Atlanta, cold in Chicago as Lee seemed to say.

Ross, look at the two ballparks. Wrigley is built to take in the most wind possible. Turner Field, being more modern was designed to leave most of the wind out.

 

Wrigley's facilities are also not up to par and we need the equipment. Turner Field is state of the art.

Ok, whatever, I was just making a simple statement about the weather, geez.

If we play Chicago, it'll be a tough series to win. If we play Atlanta, I think a National League pennant is ours.
