Season Ticket Holders

If you have been wanting any type of upgrade to your seats now is the time to jump on it. We just got ours today. Row 1, Seats 1 and 2. Exactly what we have been trying to get for a long time now. I called a friend in Broward and he contacted his sales rep and he got his upgrade on the spot. Don't put it off. Now is the time before they start on the partial plans.

Awesome! Yea I also heard that as well... I still have not gotten anything in the mail as far as renewal for the 07' Season...

all the people that were locked in to renewing before they reduced payroll are now bailing.

127. Right center field. I have always preferred the outfield. I like the view from there. No blind spots, can see into both dugouts, and the people there are real down to earth folks. Just a problem during day games from about the middle of May on. But that's why we upgrade our tickets to the 200 section on Sundays.

I'm also kinda interested in hearing what the partial season packages changes are going to be. I know there has been alot of complaining from the fans with the voucher plans about having to add $$$ for the "premium" games. I really never thought that was right.

Hmmm. A positive thread and some negativity had to be brought in. Way to go.

For the record, I really doubt this is true. Almost everyone I talked to said they paid the deposit last year (05 season) just to be guranteed play off tickets and then when the cuts came just downgraded the type of packages they had. I would be willing to bet that because of the way this team played the full package sales go up along with the partial packages.

Congrats! I'm still waiting for the partial season info that my rep told me had changes.

Should be real soon Strike. Call your sales rep. Once we got our new rep we kept in constant contact with him and that is probably one of the reasons we finally got moved from Row 3 to Row 1. Main reason being they are seating all previous season ticket holders before they seat the partial plans.

Now here is a question I never have been able to get answered and maybe someone here could help out. How do they count those partial packages towards season ticket sales? 2 of the 41 voucher plans equals 1 season ticket?? So many of the week end packages equals 1 season ticket?? etc... Or are they not counted at all?? Explanations for this could go a long way explaining how they come up with the numbers for season ticket holder sales per county. I would be willing to bet alot of those partial plans go to people that live and work over an hour or more away from the stadium like we do. Not everyone that lives this far can make the amount of games it takes to make the full season an advisable option over the other plans. And you would have to think the powers that be are also looking at those numbers when deciding on a location for the new ball park. At least you would hope they are.

I used to have 2 seats in Sec 144 - 41 game weekend plan. I was told that was counted as 1 season ticket. After '04 they raised prices and I also found it difficult from a time perspective to go Fri, Sat & Sun (also got tired of the heat & rain) so I switched to the Club A section and got 2 seats - 20 game Sat. plan. This counts as 1/2 season ticket.

I have stayed in touch with my rep and he didn't know why the renewal packages had not yet gone out but thought we would get it soon. He said the new plans will allow more choices/flexibility. One new option is a 27 or 28 game plan. This is the one I'm leaning towards as I always end up going to a lot more than games than my plan allows. I do intend to stay in the Club A section as I find it very comfortable there.

I think that the 20 game package with all saturdays will be discontinued. There will be a saturday night only, Sunday only 13 games, weekend games. 41 game Flex packages

any word on whether or not they will have a...say 20-30 game plan where i can pick any game (since I am in school for the non-summer months)

I guess we won't know for sure until they send out the renewals with all the information but my rep said they were gearing new packages towards giving fans more flexibility to choose games so I think there may be something like what you're looking for.

I'm one of them. I did not renew my tickets ( section 150 row 11) for 2007. I had season tickets for several years. Good years and bad. I probably went to over 60 games this year. I am a true Marlins fan, but..... the fire sale really upset me.

There are plenty of good seats avaliable at practically every game, so having season tickets is not really an advantage.

I will again buy season tickets when the new stadium deal is in place. Only then will we have playoff caliber teams year after year. Until that happens God only knows what kind of "financial corrections" will be coming in the future.

I'll still go to a lot of games in 2007, just not as many......unless we finally get our new stadium.

My rep called me today to ask if I had received my renewal package. He said they were mailed out last week but I have not received mine. Has anyone with a partial season ticket plan received it yet?

My rep called yesterday to tell me the renewals will be going out soon. That sure is different than saying it went out last week.

No more 20 game package. He said there is a 15 game saturday (includes opening and closing day), a 28 game friday and saturday package, the flex plan-and I dont know what else.

They keeping the 41 game Plan? That would be the same as the Flex 21 plan just without the Sunday games... My Rep has yet to call me yet, unless I missed the call

Yeah, I get the feeling they didn't all go out at the same time although my rep was under the impression that they did.

I got my package today... New Plans:

Full Season (81 Games)

41 "For You" Plan (Opening day + 40 games of your choice, you make the schedule, There is NO MORE 41 GAME SOLID PLAN, which was every Fri. Sat. SUN)

28 Game Flex (Opening day, re-live 97 WS day, Last game, you pick the rest)

15 Game Flex

10 Game Flex

Pretty cool stuff, also you have two payment plans; all at once (save 34 bucks) or three payments (Nov 1 Dec 1 and Jan 1)

That would explain why alot of seats came open for the full season package. I like the fact they are calling people. Our last rep rarely even returned calls.

If you have never gone the Flex Plan way before then a little clue. Pick the games you want to see early and turn those vouchers in. That way you will be getting the best seating. Friends we have that go with the flex plans say that week end games (Premier games) cost them a little $$$ plus the voucher. I'm not sure when you can start turning them in but it may not be until single game tickets go on sale (FanFest). That's a couple of good questions you may want to ask your rep.

I always gets my vouchers turned in for premier games without having to pay extra. I mean that is beacuse I choose them in my same section.. If you want to upgrade seats for just that game you have topay the difference... Anyways as a season ticket holder you get a discount on extra tickets if you want to buy some for buddies and stuff.. They will go on sale to the season ticket holders first before FanFest(General Public)

BroncoBob where did you upgrade to? Section? Seats?

I have a question hopefully some can shed some light on before i talk to my rep , I am not really a fan of any plan offered 20 game flex plan was perfect that aside , 10 game flex plan how does that work , do i get to pick my games well in advance and secure my seat ??? will i have access to buy regular season games early i ask because the flex plan 10 vouchers exclude saturday , i live quite a distance from miami so ideally i would prefer to have tix for fri, sat , sun , any answers would be appreciated ..thanks
