My parents want to get me this for my birthday....what's the difference with regards to sports coverage and reliability and things like that?? What about portability???

XM has MLB and NHL as sports. And its extremely portable and reliable.

Well I know that XM has MLB, NHL, NASCAR (until next year :banghead ), the IRL, ACC and Big Ten Sports (I believe there is another one) and your usual ESPN, Sporting News, Fox Sports, etc coverage.

 

Sirus has the NFL, NBA, NASCAR next season and I don't know what else. I'm really only qualified to talk about XM because thats the one I have. :shifty

XM has good sports coverage, I listen to MLB all the time.

Music wise it's a real wash. XM has MLB, Sirius has NFL. Figure out what's more important and pick.

but, back to radios. i have sirius. the uncensored comedy channel can keep me entertained for hours, the music selection is great, howard stern's there for when you're in the mood, and NFL/NBA. i like it.
