This is the quote that really bothers the hell out of me. Even if you take medication, those kind of movements are still there. I know this because my father has Parkinson's too and sometimes he does the same uncontrollable movements and he takes his medication everyday. No matter what, what Rush said about Michael is very offensive and very ignorant.

attention.

Just look at what the backlash from the Moore movie did last election. I'm 95% sure this turns into a positive thing for conservatives once it's all said and done, because more Republicans will see Democrats getting angry and will think they need to go to the polls to ensure a victory.

 

As for what he said.....who cares.

I had a great aunt who had Parkinson's before she died, and I remember her having good and bad days. One day she could be relatively normal, and the next her shaking was out of control. It's a horrible disease, and I hope that stem-cell research can cure it, along with the other bad diseases of our time.

The church or religion is not getting in the way of science. The church is entitled to their beliefs, as are all of us. It's the politicians who pander to the fundamentalists that would like to stop full-blown stem cell research. These are the same politicians that seized on the issue of keeping that poor woman alive as a vegetable with a feeding tube, and who would also like to see our personal abortion rights taken away.

If you're old enough, just exercise your right to vote, and vote the politicians who pander to the fundamentalists out of office. Do it quickly, because we've lost enough constitutional rights already under the present leadership. And the last 2 elections have been like something out of a banana republic. So vote now, while your vote hopefully will count and be counted.

i personally think rush limbaugh is an idiot however i dont think what fox did was right either i am tired of these shock ads by both sides , i wish issues could be discussed calmly and rationally why is it necessary to prop up a sick man or a dead soldiers wife , argue your case on the facts . btw i am for stem cell research but to assert that certain cures await and and are close at hand is misleading and offering false hope to many to me is equally as disgusting because any potential cures if they in fact come from stem cell research are decades away

Yeah, well, a lot of people let their faith get in the way of progress, unfortunately. Even worse, people in office confuse man's law for God's law and think they're supposed to be one in the same.
