December 23, 200619 yr Reggie Abercrombie- .222/.260/.486 72ab 17r 2doubles 4triples 3hr 2bb 18k 5sb 1cs Actually, that's a little old. This is Reggie's line as of December 18 (the most recent update): Source: HitBoricua.com
December 23, 200619 yr Reggie's numbers are atrocious. Do the marlins need any more clues that this guy isn't MLB material?
December 23, 200619 yr If Reggie makes the Marlins 25 man roster I will question Freddie's judgement of talet like I did with Girardi.
December 23, 200619 yr If Reggie makes the Marlins 25 man roster I will question Freddie's judgement of talet. yep, hopefully we'll pick someone up, so this won't be too hard of a decision for fredi.

December 23, 200619 yr Ignoring Reggie for the moment because I can't believe the organization is so enraptured with him that he'll be on the opening day roster, as for Henry Owens, he was shut down and hasn't pitched since he was acquired by the Marlins so those numbers are a month+ old. What's encouraging about Antonio Alfonseca is being in ten games in just over two weeks, so he's pitching frequently andputting up respectable numbers. And the other AA, Alfredo Amezaga is hot again, having been in a slump for a week or so and seeing his average fall to something like .278 , has his average back up to .311. AA continues to play in the infield exclusively which should be an indicator of how the Marlins anticipate using him this upcoming season.

December 24, 200619 yr Gabby Hernandez and Lindstrom are having oustanding performances in Winter Baseball...In Abercrombies defense he ias an all or nothing hitter he is at the top of the league in runs scored, homeruns, and triples he also has a decent amount of RBIs but that average and OBP is atrocious and the Ks are horrible
