Ok I'm bitter. I work at our student center and a ton of flowers(so far about 25 from one floral shop) have been delivered here so I have to call all the people to come pick it up. Of course I work 7am-1 today so that's all I'm going to be doing. But anyways so far of the 6 people I've spoken to so far I've gotten 3 complaints. Unbelievable. "Why did you call so early. This is my one day to sleep in." "I have to walk all the way across campus to get them?" and "Great I don't have time to get to Moseley today." I mean seriously girls. Shouldn't you be happy you are getting flowers. I mean someone spent a nice chunk of change on these flowers. What a dumb holiday. Be appreciative ladies.

Anyways Happy Valentines Day friends. Anyone have any big plans?

Make that 4 complaints....

I would be more than happy to receive flowers. I wouldn't mind picking them up.

Max got me a box of chocolate and a card. Our anniversary is tomorrow, so we don't really do anything on VDay. We just wait for the next day to go to dinner. Restaurants will be packed tonight anyway.

im taking the lady to peace river and we are going to camp there for the weekend ... should be an adventure and something different to do for such an occassion.

happy valentines day

to this day, I still think that Valentine's Day is a VERY Commercial holiday...

with that being said, we are just going to dinner to one of fav. restaurants who actually kept their prices normal...and I plan on getting creative decorating his car later...

I get flowers on a random day of the week, so I told my fiancee specifically that I didn't want any overpriced flowers...and he stayed true to his word...No flowers!

Happy V-Day everyone.

No V-Day plans today - Well study for my Chemistry exam :)

It's my first Valentine's Day without my ex in 5 years, so it's a little weird. Although the lack of spending makes my bank account happy.

This is the first Valentine's day that I have been single on since I was 15 years old. Nice!

Oh, that story you posted just shows exactly how spoiled most women are.

That's Elon girls for ya I guess...spoiled bitches

So another story. Towards the end of my shift a girl and her friend come up. I initially grab the wrong one. She goes "Oh good I didn't like that one." So I grab the right one and she goes "Oh great even worse. Her friend and her roll their eyes and walk off." I just stood there in disbelief. Had to ask my boss if I had heard them right. It wasn't a dozen roses, but it was far from being 'ugly' or whatever.

never had a boy, much less valentine's day. all my friends are dating someone, so i'm left out in the cold.

i think it's just too commercialized. it's single awareness day.

anyone know where I can find the "Pete Rose" Valentines Day card from the movie Fever Pitch?

that one was awesome

What's a boyfriend?

Valentine's day is a terrible holiday. I blame Russel Stovers.

Are you sure that's what you want to call it? Its acronym spells out SAD.

the holiday is whatever. most years i've been single and it's no biggie but now that i'm not, it's still no big deal lol. i mean it'll be a fun night but i don't feel like i need a special day to be lovey dovey. seriously though, i can't believe how many people waste all that money on balloons.

What's a girlfriend? I'm working tonight....

I have a dilemma.

I was thinking about treating myself to a steak at Outback and sitting at the bar and having a few beers and maybe meeting some single men. Should I do this, or stay home and watch LOST like a little girl?

go to the outback and have some liquid courage. After about 4-5 beers start talking to some girls. I think tonight would be a great night to get single girls because they probably want a "valentine" tonight.

If you are at a loss of words and need a pick up line try "I may not be the best looking guy here, but I'm the only one thats talking to you" :thumbup

On a side note we're going to toronto for the long weekend.

I think I will.

My first valentines day with a g/f...she's in class till 9, I'm at her house already, I'm making her a chocolate fondue. I have strawberries, kiwi, banana, and peach. Maybe I'll try orange. I'm almost making it for myself my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

So I'm gonna set a nice ambiance for when she gets home...candle lit table, fondue, bottle of wine, and a single rose.

Giggity giggity-goo!

Dude, rock and roll that bad boy!

Being alone today feels the same as watching the braves, mets, phillies, and nats win...

f*cking horrible! I need to find a hot girl that will yell obscenities at David Samson with

me.

In Bulgaria Valentine's Day is also the national wine day. In small towns everyone goes out into the fields with liters of wine and drinks in order to "bless" the next season's crops. In reality what happens though is everyone takes off work at about twelve, goes to a restaurant and drinks until two in the morning. All in all it was a fantastic way to spend the day, although making work a bit rough this morning...

Yesterday is by far the most depressing day of the year.
