Spring stats....whats the difference? We can tell if someone is hot or on fire either way.....

BTW, Jason Wood is probably a better hitter than Aaron Boone at this point of his career.

Totally, I agreed

I have a question on De Aza..how's his defense? I've read up on him and only seem to hear about the offensive side never really his defense.

Too early for the bad and the ugly.. look for the positives. Like Petit today.. good stuff. Very encouraging

Based on what we saw last year and this spring, you are right. Seems when Wood hits the ball it has pop. He gets solid hits. Boone has always struck out too much for my liking and especially in his role with us. He will pinch hit with RISP, when we need a sac. fly etc., something that Helms excelled out, having good at bats. Just not comfortable with Boone.

With the numbers De Aza is putting up this spring any chance he takes the CF job or probably start him in AA and call him up later?

With most players around 12 AB's, I'm offended as a Marlins fan that we are labeling players as "The Ugly".

I'm not a huge Hermida fan but cut the guy a f'n break.

Aaron Boone is now 1-20, 6 K's and about 18 guys left on base.

Hopefully, he'll improve.
