I'd take Reed over Sanchez anyday, especially if Reed can hit in the .240s at least if we are just talking Sanchez.

Abercrombie must have some kind of a mental block or something, because there are very few people in this league that have better tools than him. I just don't understand it.

I just don't understand it. he has a disease called "SAMS" swing and miss syndrome as for Reed, he's a singles hitter who doesnt walk.
March 13, 200719 yr Who will win the job on opening day? At this point it has to be Eric Reed don't you think? Reggie batted like 350 last year in ST. It doesn't mean anything. As they say on TNT - "the Truth will be told", but not until the season begins. This is all just pissing in the wind.
March 17, 200719 yr Carroll is very similar in play as Eric Byrnes.. he can handle CF but with his arm, he is a much better RF Ramp would you say Carroll would be up with the team in June or September if he polishes his outfield play and hits well?

Carroll will be a corner OFer. DeAza and Campusano are our best options in CF if/when Reed and Sanchez falter.
