So Kobe is good

Featured Replies

It'd be nice if he had some help so we could win a game once in awhile. He is starting to go back to last year Kobe, which needs to be done.

Make it 63.

111-108 Lakers

He's 8-12 from deep.

he shot 59%

a coach will take that any day. Especially in the midest of a losing streak when you just want to win a damn game.

Its one thing to jack up shot after shot...but its another when you making them at a very nice clip.

HE SHOT 59%!!!!!!!!!!

Have you seen how his teammates have been playing lately? We had loss 7 in a row (the last 2 by about 30 each), and it wasn't Kobe's fault. This was something that needed to be done, and I wish he would have done it sooner. If he has to go back to shoot first, shoot second, and shoot some more Kobe, then so be it.

He was sharing, it wasn't wokring. Go out and score 65.

Oh well. For every great scoring game, there is a hater saying he should have passed.

And if he did that, he'd get criticized for not caring and being too passive out there

Damned if he does, damned if he doesnt

That's a lot of shots, but can't argue with the production and he shot an unbelievable percentage. It took an awful lot to beat a pretty bad Portland team.

basketball is about letting the hot guy shoot. The players on the lakers will give kobe the ball everytime when hes on a streak like that. I mean it would be stupid to not let your best player shoot

Kobe has the best chance of making the shot..why not give it to him? If his teammates shot just as well as he did, I'm sure he would pass the ball more often. He's trying to win the game for his team, not practice his sharing-skills.

Kobe is the absolute BEST! Get that stuff medium-rare with a side of potatoes...

Oh wait... wrong Kobe? Isn't basketball season over yet?

:whistle

Yeah, umm, having a decent night tonight.

"kobe is overated"

my favorite line

... guy is the best player in the NBA and by far

:lol :lol :lol

you're joking right?

Kobe is the only big name player that makes his teammates worse...The reason why Dallas and Phoenix are the two best teams in the NBA are solely because of Dirk and Nash, respectively...take Dirk away from the Mavs, Howard, Stackhouse, Terry, etc. all turn to crap...take Nash away from the Suns, the team becomes one of the worst teams in the West

Take Kobe away from the lakers, the team more or less stays the same...the loss of Kobe would be offset by everyone else performing a lot better

People talk about the lack of support, that's only because unlike other top notch players (Kidd, Nash, Shaq, Dirk, etc.), Kobe lacks the ability to make his teammates better
