and i was so ready for baseball too.

bet the doubleheader comes in the last meeting of the year though...it always does.

So why didn't they decide to do a double header today?

I think what they usually do is schedule the double header the next time the team comes. So if this was our only visit to atlanta, there would be a double header today.

I was watching MASN a little while ago and the sports score ticker said Sunday's game is postponed as well. I don't see it on ESPN's web site.

Any truth to this?

it's still going according to yahoo...and the rain is much less than last nights. they could be talking about last night's game.

i think we play today, though rain is in the forecast: http://www.wunderground.com/radar/radblast...amp;lightning=0

Disappointing the game wasn't on yesterday.. I always enjoy being able to watch the marlins at a bar. Go TBS and boo rain

I'm going to be grabbing my canoe and going to NYC and Carnegie Hall today, so no Fish for me! Worst flooding in 15 years apperently

GO FISH!

There have been way more rainouts in the early going of this season than I can remember for any other two-week stretch of any other season. Is this just my perception or does that sound about right to anyone else?

The game will be on today. No steady rain problem. Just a chance of a quickly passing squall.

It will be windy and very cold. Wind chills in the 30's. Temps of 45. I hope Olsen can pitch well in this weather.

The weather has probably been the biggest story of the year so far in MLB.

from last night, note to bobby cox.

Dear Bobby Cox. I respect you like a father. But if there's going to be a 2 1/2 -hour rain delay' date=' please consider someone else.[/quote']

So do we get Olsen-Hudson?

yes. huddy is 4-0 with a 2 era against the fish. much better chances for us today than davies.

So do we get Olsen-Hudson?

Yup. They skipped Davies.

I was really hoping we wouldn't have to face Hudson. Damnit.

This will push Vanden Hurk's start back until probably the first game back at DS against the Mets.

now that we have another game canecl who pitching in houston and our next home stand?

Olsen today, Sanchez tomorrow, Mitre Tuesday, Vanden Hurk Wednesday.

i like this rotation, Olsen just needs to get control back. Anibal partially imploded against the nats but his game with the Brewers was ok. Hopefully Rick can continue his good pitching against Houston, Mitre shut them out last year.

so willis next game will be thursday

well that means the no air game will be dontrelle again, and i won't be in an empty stadium singing happy birthday to chipper. :banghead
