(3-0, 0.62 ERA) (2-1, 7.50 ERA

TV: Fox Sports Florida, Fox Sports South

Scheduled Start Time: 7:05 PM ET

Rookie Rick Vanden Hurk was sent back down to the minors after giving up six runs in one inning plus of work Tuesday, embarrassing himself in front of a national TV audience. Mark Redman wasn't much better, also giving up six runs in three innings. The Marlins walked nine batters in last night's game, and so far, 32 runs have scored in this series.

Tim Hudson (3-0, 0.62 ERA) hopes to win the series in the finale tonight at Dolphin Stadium. Sporting a ERA higher than Ryan Langerhans' current batting average, he has dominated the Marlins in his eight starts, going 5-0 with a 1.90 ERA. Last time out in New York, he shutout the Mets for eight innings, for just five hits and two walks, and striking out three.

Scott Olsen (2-1, 7.50 ERA) is another story. In his last outing against the Braves, he was shelled for five runs in 2 2/3 innings pitched for his only loss so far this season. He is 1-3 in five appearances, four of them starts with a 11.02 ERA. He has yet to log a quality start this year, with his longest outing being in Washington for 5 1/3 innings pitched, allowing two runs.

Matt Diaz is likely to be in the lineup facing the southpaw Olsen, but his potent to be a Marlin killer from 2006 hasn't been showing so far in 2007. He is 3-13, and has struck out against the Marlins four times, despite a .468 average with two homers and eight RBI's in 2006.

Brave killer Cody Ross hurt Atlanta again last night with five RBI and a homer, going 4-9 with seven RBI and a homer against the Braves this year, increasing his totals careerwise to .367 with four homers and 13 RBI's against the Braves. In limited time in 2007, he holds a .333 average with three homers and 12 RBI.
