After the rough start tonight he could have easily went psycho again like in his last starts but he hung in there and delivered one of the best performances of the year. And thanks to his perseverance the fish were just close enough to rally back and win.

Definitely a positive step forward in Scotty's maturation. We've got a good one on our hands.

More like a general observation.

Hey, if anyone can be accused of flipflopping, it isnt me. Especially not concerning Scotty O, as I have been saying how amazingly awesome he is for 3 years now, through the good times and the bad.

That's awesome spike. Good for you.

Your "general observations" are usually classic.. just don't lump me in to this beauty.

When he has his control, he's thorwing strikes..Simple as that.

But nice outting...This is the second time this year where he's looked very shaky, almost looking ripe to be pulled early and has come back with a strong outting..

He definetly had a good game adter giving up those Homers. But I would still like to see him start a game well and not have to "regain" composure. If he can learn to come out of the gates well then the possibilities are endless I think. Lots of talent there.

I'll admit, I turned into a Scotty-O basher the past two weeks, and who can blame me. He was pitching like crap! But having said that, I'm glad to see that he got the ship turned around. He was the reason we won that game the other night. That was a gutsy effort!
