Another sad thing is how the Cubs fans reacted to him..."Cost Us The Series?" it's only Game 6 with Wood still gearing to go in Game 7..."Kill him!"?? That is just disgraceful....

 

I had WGN Cubs superstation on after the game and they were showing the guy getting escorted out of the stadium by security guards down thru the tunnels..Fans were throwing beer and other things at him, a few ppl tried to get past the cops and were trying to take swings at him...Really pathetic display

If they get this guy killed, the whole city of Chicago(atleast Cubs fans) should be ashamed of themeselves. The whole country is cheering for the Cubs to go to the series and win it all and if this kid dies because of this....you are going to see how quickly things start to change.

I seriously would not be surprised if you hear about him being in some Chicago hospital in critical condition or something like that in the next few days. I remember that occurence. Was all over the news, poor fan I hope this same fate doesn't meet him.

It really is refreshing to see that the rest of the country is finally seeing Cub "fans" for what they are worth. Actually, you can add the Chicago media to that list too. No class whatsoever.
