June 17, 200719 yr So, what were your first impressions of Brett Carroll? (Gotta do this on a guys first ML debut) He had some pretty good AB's early in the game (Bunt, working the count) Sucks that he made two errors today but the first error (he kicked the ball) was kind of a tough play. The 2nd error was Reggiesque. I think he tried to do too much in the 9th. I guess his nerves got to him. Hopefully he starts tomorrow because I want to see him play again. Maybe Hammer or Hermida can DH and Carroll can slide in LF or RF.

June 17, 200719 yr It was only one game, so you can't judge him. Once he settles in, he'll be ok. The errors were clearly him trying to do too much. Anyway it sounds like he's going to get a lot of playing time. Gonzalez said that he was called up to play, so we'll see what happens.

June 17, 200719 yr I saw that Fredi is gonna use Carroll in al 3 OF positions. Let him settle the CF spot imo, He will show quick strides of improvement. I feel it is hurtfull to be moving him all around
