October 16, 200321 yr Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo dammit
October 16, 200321 yr it's a shame that real loyal fans like us don't get to reap the benefits of sticking with this team ALL SEASON unlike all these other fans who jumped on because it suddenly became "the thing to do". oh well. i will try not to be upset over it. heck, how can i be upset at anything right now? i'm staring at a newspaper front page that has "WORLD SERIES" in giant letters on it! i'm glad the ownership gets to see some revenue out of all this, regardless of who is going. any fans are good fans. maybe some of them will even stick around next april... i read somewhere that the first 3 games of each series have a big % of revenue going back to the players. but the 4,5,6,7 games of each series start getting some $$ to the front office. so hopefully Loria & Co. will get a little boost from Games 4 & 5.
October 16, 200321 yr I rather being on this situation, than on the Cubs situation. true I'm gonna rent a BIG screen and throw a GNARLY a** PARTY every game Anybody near ALBUQUERQUE is invited!!!
October 16, 200321 yr We are going to have to figure out a way in the next couple of years to come up with a "MarlinsBaseball.com" only section. This ******* SUCKS!! All these Jerkweeds who didn't step foot upon PPS all season long are going to go and those of us who have enjoyed Marlins baseball all season long and now we can't root on our favorite team from the stadium! Hey Bandwagoners: :fyou You better show up next season, which you probably won't!!!
October 16, 200321 yr The sad thing is...most of the tickets went to scalpers with pimped out software...I contend I was pinged out by some ticket scalper when waiting in line.
October 16, 200321 yr We are going to have to figure out a way in the next couple of years to come up with a "MarlinsBaseball.com" only section. I say Admin should buy one of the luxury suites when we get a new ball park...
October 16, 200321 yr The really sad thing is that there are people in EBAY who do not live nowhere near the state of Florida, who are not going to the games, who just learned that there is a team called the Florida Marlins who have tickets for every single home game. And I am not talking about 2 tickets, but like 10 for every single game. On the other hand, people like me who have been suffering throughout these past 6 years, who have predicted this to happen and have gone to games and the series do not have one stupid ticket!!! How the freaking hell can this happen! What did these guys did to get all those tickets? Check it out, there is a guy from Columbia, Illinois offering tickets for game 3, 4 and 5 for $390 at 2 tickets per package. What a JOKE!!!! :banghead :banghead :banghead
October 16, 200321 yr This really bites. i go to some 30 games a year (NOT A BANDWAGONER) and its not right for us die-hard fans to not get tickets. management really should do something about this stupid problem.
October 16, 200321 yr well there are prob. going to be like 70,000 fans there-we have a very big stadium-u shouldnt complain that its 2 small.but u should be able 2 get some tics.
October 16, 200321 yr I say Admin should buy one of the luxury suites when we get a new ball park... lmao :lol How about a "Luxury Spot on the Grass"?
October 16, 200321 yr I say Admin should buy one of the luxury suites when we get a new ball park... lmao :lol How about a "Luxury Spot on the Grass"? Just get us a blimp to hover the stadium with Admin.
October 16, 200321 yr :banghead :w00t its messed up that internet web sites buy the tickets way before the ticks even go on sale and they profit the damn things for more than $1,000. I mean what a waste of money. But in the good side is that when the game is around the corner, lets say the next day and it seemed impossible to sell them so they sell them for a profit of $30 ... So I see myself on line for game 4 at 12:00am

It's alla a business. It sucks, but what can we do? I'm going to the stadium with my friend on Tuesday and try to buy some seats from someone before the game for not too bad of a price. And if not, watch in the parking lot on a portable tv!
October 16, 200321 yr argh this sucks, i was trying forever as soon as they went on sale and couldn't get anything. it really sucks that us diehards cant get tickets. anyway, if someone has tickets, and wants to sell them, i have $500.00 to spend.
October 17, 200321 yr HINT HINT---> Season Tickets..... If you go to 30 games as some of you have said, then that's the way to go...It's cheaper and you are GUARANTEED seats for the postseason......
October 17, 200321 yr We took the suggestion of one of the Cubs fans who posted here, and opened four seperate virtual waiting rooms, on DSL, with a very fast computer, plus I worked two different phones, redialing nonstop. The tickets were all gone in twenty minutes, for all three games. We never got through. Hardly anybody who lined up at the stadium got tickets, and the few that did, were only able to get nose bleeders. Since it takes several minutes to process each order, and you couldn't buy more than six per order, if you do the math, it's pretty evident there were only a handful of tickets available anyway. Just enough to avoid public outrage that our tickets were sold long ago. The brokers had specific seats listed a couple of days prior to them going on sale. I haven't heard of anybody so far, that bought infield tickets through ticket master. The average fan had NO CHANCE.
October 17, 200321 yr I guess Marlins fans are not used to this because wev only been in one World Series, but I don't know why people are surprised by this. Do you know of anyone who gets lower bowl Super Bowl tickets without going through a broker or scalper? Fact is, this is a worldwide spectacle, and MLB of course is giving to give tickets to the teams, corporate sponsors, etc. In a big game like this, money talks. I can't believe people expected to walk up to the ticket window and request the tickets they wanted when thousands of others were trying to do the same in Miami and all over the country. And for those who said the Marlins didnt give their fans a chance first, all they asked for was a $50 deposit towards next year to guarantee tickets to all playoff games, not too much of a commitment.
