Start time: 7:05 p.m. ET

Pitching Matchup

MIN: RHP Carlos Silva (4-8, 4.20 ERA)

Silva followed up the first shutout of his career with a six-inning four-run performance against the Mets. Silva tied his season high in hits allowed (10) in the outing, and many were hard hit, not the ground-ball outs the Twins were looking for. One trend that has continued to follow Silva is a lack of run support. At Dolphin Stadium, Silva is winless with a 7.59 ERA in 11 appearances.

FLA: RHP Josh Johnson (0-1, 9.82 ERA)

Johnson's command was a bit off in his return to action. Of his 80 pitches, 42 were for strikes. The outing in Chicago was Johnson's second shortest MLB start. On Aug. 5, 2006, against the Dodgers, he exited after three innings, giving up five runs.

Yea, a game on TV!

Although last night's Twins/KSTP broadcast via XM was nice. John Gordon seems to be enjoying South Florida. "Circle Me" Bert also had a good time. :lol
