TheDon
Wow.  Its been a while since Ive seen complete blindness exhibited by an umpiring crew. The 3B umpire needs a few days of unpaid leave.

TheDon
What was wrong with Armando tonight? I wasn't able to watch the game up here in Tallahassee.   He gave up some hits, didnt have his best stuff but more importantly, he was robbed of an out at 3B but the umpire.  There is no excuse for blowing a call like that. Hollyberry
This game was pretty painful to watch. I honestly thought we would come back and win it in the 9th. Just a tease I guess. Oh well, atleast the game is on early tomorrow. I am getting sick of these losses. We are so much better than this. Argh.. :banghead . TheDon
The interference call on Hanley was nauseating.  A+ tonite for the men in blue.
Rabbethan
The list of Umps who need to be fired: Admin Young(I swear he goes against the Marlins every time he is at home) Brian Knight(just look him up, his blunders are usually seen on Baseball Tonight) John Hirschbeck(2B today) Wally Bell(3B today)

Rabbethan
Refs excuse = the worst excuse ever. When they make 2 obviously bad calls in favor of runners who ended up scoring in a game that ended up being lost by 1 run, it's a pretty good reason. all black marlins hat
Refs excuse = the worst excuse ever. wow. for a second i thought this was the marlins forum.          when things are going bad... everycall goes agaisnt the marlins. EndLine
I'm still puzzled by the Hanley "error." In fact, I don't quite understand it.

furcalchick
i would say the mccann call was very lame...but the renteria one, he was probably safe.
Rabbethan
Renteria one looked out on the replay, but at least it is understandable that it was a close play. The interference call was BS.

TheDon
Refs excuse = the worst excuse ever.   They have refs in basketball chief.  In baseball we call them umpires.  :thumbup
CTMarlinsfan
so what was that interconference call...i was at the game but I missed the play apperently becuase the runner was clearly thrown out. IMHO Fredi deserves some blame...intentionally walking the bases loaded twice...you take one of those walks out and we tie and are probably still playing and take the 2nd one out and we might have just gone home happy! That being said, I was the one busting Francouer and Admin (Jones) tonight. I had a blast, it's always fun to heckle, especially a team you despise and I can say the Braves are my absolute least favorite team. pierremvp1
No doubt that the umps affected the game today, especially the phantom interference call on Hanley. . . It's times like this that I think of the Livan Hernandez game in the '97 NLCS, where Eric Gregg basically called every pitch from Livan a strike, as long as it landed somewhere between home plate and the first base dugout. . .That was a much more important game...against the BRAVES. MarlinsContinueTo ShowDomi
the lowest a fan can stoop would be blaming losses on a "curse" or some other abstract thing like that. Blaming an umpire whose bad call directly affected the outcome of a ballgame is hardly a lame excuse.
