that cartoon was in yesterdays herald. i hope its not true although i dont belive we're going to be packing in 40,000 a night but i think attendace will improve, people are in love with this team right now.

Pretty Funny...

all i can say, is that the attendance will improve yet again next year

If you guys keep this team together, and can't draw 2 million fans next year, I won't understand what everybody in south florida is doing.

Funny, but i hope is not the truth

Guarenteed that there will be more than 6 or 7,000 there a night. Average? I'm looking closer to averaging 20,000 people a night there next year. Is it a stretch? Yeah probably, but considering there won't be any major fire sales and if management can bring in good talent to replace those that are lost, this will be a very good baseball team again next year!

Really going out on a limb there, aren't ya? :p

I would guess we'll average closer to 30,000 if the main core of the team stays put. Obviously there will be some tinkering...there always is. Look at the Braves. They've managed to win 12 straight division titles, each year with new players thrown into the mix. (Although with only one WS championship to show for it... :lol )

If we can say let only Lee and Enc Leave and somehow Loria wants to spend 80 mil. The Team will sell 30k+ a game.

If we keep together we'll get between 18,000 and 23,000!

If this team is kept together, the fans will indeed come back. :) :)

Marlins drew 1.3 million this year, 2 million for 2004 wouldn't be a stretch.

If we don't draw 20-25K a night next year, there is something wrong with south Florida.

I'd say 18-23k a night next year.

If next years opening day isn't a capacity crowd (65K), I'm going to scream.

after a world series campaign and with the core returning....

you would have to think that anything less than an average of 25K would be a disappointment.

The Marlins don't like to open up those seats unless absolutely needed. you could see a 45,000 person crowd, but not the full 67,000.

That's why I say minimum two million, that would be around 24,600 per game.

same thoughts different words.

:hat

Dropping Enc, Lee, one of UU/Looper, and Pudge will allow us to sign everyone we need and maybe bring in a free agent (vlad!?)

:lol

Pudge, Enc will be back.

More cash.

If the fans came and wanted to sit up there, and you don't sell them the tickets because you don't like to, then you're crazy.

didnt we avg around 20,000 during the '98 season with that horrible team? i think if we bring back the core of the team we could surely avg. 25,000.

21,363 per game in 98.
