August 5, 200718 yr it was nice that 1 - 3 each had a HR. the bullpen was lights out tonight, that was deffinately a major factor in winning this game. they gave us a chance to win it and we did that.

August 5, 200718 yr I just watched the replay of Cabs' homer (I was at the game and didn't get a good look at it), and it's amazing to me how it got so much on a pitch that was that low. Incredible.

Too bad he didn't use that "force" in the 2nd inning because from where I sat I thought that ball should have been caught. Would have loved to see a replay on that one. Or have used it a couple other non plays. But I do have to compliment him on his speed tonight. Haven't seen him run that fast in a long time. Of course he was running away from the players when they were trying to mob him after scoring. Can Jake be called being in a slump? 0 fer 17 after his wife has twin girls?? Pretty poor excuse...but whatever. And before anyone jumps on me for that...Yes I did have identical twin girls. But I was only working on F-15s at the time and not someting as important as playing baseball.
