Marlins
ok-i know he had the house before-but he wanted to play here to-and now he has the chance to play here again and go to the WS again possibly.
KJC
Loria is gonna have to take 3 years worth of "special money" and give it to pudge...

KJC
thanks for jinxing it :lol seriously it would look real bad for Pudge to leave fla, there are no excuses other then greed if he does. if he stays he is a local hero or if he bolts he is a hired gun. he stays. DurableTear
I'm guessing Pudge leaves and we give Lowell a nice new long term contract.
Hugg
I think Loria is going to surprise some people this offseason, in a good way. Just my hunch, nothing really to go on.
Wild Card
You have two choices. Would you rather: A.) Keep basically the nucleus of your pitching staff (virtually everyone) and Luis Castillo. OR B.) Keep Pudge, get rid of Castillo and put in Hooper, lose both of your closers, and keep Castro on the bench for another 3 years. I chose A. Pudge and Vladi? is Loria gonna go into crack dealing? what about Lowell? and the rotation? i dont know if Loria has that much "special" money, but who knows? Wild Card
I say we re-sign Pudge, sign Vlad and let go Castillo and sign a cheap 2B like Todd Walker. Since when was Todd Walker cheap? He was this year for Boston, but with the stats he put up this year, he ain't gonna be cheap any more.
Craig
I say we re-sign Pudge, sign Vlad and let go Castillo and sign a cheap 2B like Todd Walker. First of all, Todd Walker had a good year, and won't exactly be "cheap" compared to Luis Castillo, and 2nd, there is no chance on God's green earth that any team in baseball not named the Yankees has enough money to sign Pudge and Vlad.
