Posted October 13, 200717 yr Surprised one of these hasn't surfaced yet.. with the way my Hawks and Bears have looked this year, I'm really looking forward to some Bulls basketball. Noah has looked pretty solid. Not gonna lie, thought he was an idiot.. but now hes my idiot and you gotta love the non stop hustle. Good low post passer, which is a must on this team. Hope he does well.
October 13, 200717 yr Magic 102 - Miami 69? Anyway though, JJ Redick has had a couple of good games and Al Thornton had 18 pts and 10 boards for the Clips the other day.
October 13, 200717 yr Im assuming you took the over? I think with a real coach in there, the use of Jameer Nelson will hopefully go WAY down unless he can learn to play defense and not turn the ball over and JJ will be huuuuuge when teams want to go zone
October 13, 200717 yr Of course. From all accounts he is going to start this year. He will average 10 without a doubt in my mind. Rotoworld was fellating him the other day.
October 13, 200717 yr Ariza, Bogans, Dooling, Battie? Foyle, Garrity and Nelson or Arroyo coming off the bench isnt bad. Im assuming a starting 5 of Howard, Turkoglu, Lewis, Redick and .... Arroyo.... I didnt much care for JJ at Duke since he had a habit of crushing FSU (among others) but respected him. A bunch of less than clever kids were yelling at him an hour before a game a while back while he was being stretched about why he would f*** the trainer or whatnot and he played along quite well and blew kisses to those students.... maybe confessed f***ing a mother or two as well.
October 13, 200717 yr If Redick was black he would be beloved (I'm seriously not ever going to discuss this again so no one should bother even responding to it). He's a great f***ing guy. I've talked to him randomly 4 times (twice as a freshman at non-Duke events and two other times later in his career), once for a semi-extended period (Chick-Fil-A, FTW) and the three other times were brief. He was always cool as hell with me when he easily could have been a dick (wouldn't have disagreed with him doing that). He is definitely in my top 5 Duke players ever and the ammount of sh*t he went through in college is/was obscene. I think he is going to be a very good pro for a while. He will work his ass of to get there and the work he has done will show big time this year.
October 13, 200717 yr Author My buddies girlfriend has an assload of free chicken sandwhich coupons at chickfila.. its the only reason i tolerate her
October 13, 200717 yr I would set the bar for the over/under at 15.5ppg for JJ this year. whoa and I would bet my entire gambling bankroll on that under.

October 13, 200717 yr I would set the bar for the over/under at 15.5ppg for JJ this year. whoa and I would bet my entire gambling bankroll on that under. Yeah, you're probably right. Might have had a little too much liquor in my system when I said that. However, I do think he will play fairly well if he gets to start this year.
October 14, 200717 yr I am in deathly fear over Rashard Lewis' ankle, even if it is listed as a minor sprain and he is day-to-day. But yeah, I'm really excited. JJ Redick is going to be key this year. Dwight has developed a shooting touch. Van Gundy knows how to adjust his offense.
October 26, 200717 yr Wallace, Thomas, and Noah all rolled their ankles last night. Talk about horrid luck.
October 26, 200717 yr Wallace, Thomas, and Noah all rolled their ankles last night. Talk about horrid luck. At least it's rolled ankles and not ripped knees.
October 26, 200717 yr Durant hurt his ankle and Rashard Lewis finally played substantial minutes in the pre-season last night after having an ankle sprain, which in Orlando, is the equivalent of rotator cuff issues. Have no clue what is up with ankles. I'm just glad pre-season is over and the regular season finally starts in 5 days.
October 26, 200717 yr A rolled/turned ankle can often be a tough thing to prevent and is often times a freak thing but I'd say teams aren't working on stretching and strengthenig the calfs and ankles as much as they should. Shoes have taken a back seat with prevention and safety and put more of a preference on style and marketability.
