Your 2003 World Champion Florida Marlins

I'm am speachless.

There is no word to describe this feeling (I may have to ask an Angel fan for a word to describe this).

Josh Beckett became one of the best pitchers in baseball right in front of america's hard, tense eyes. Miguel Cabrera became the best young hitter in the game under the same exact circumstances. Brad Penny showed everyone that he does, in fact, play the position of pitcher; not thrower. Carl Pavano proved to everyone why he was traded for arguably the best pitcher of this era. Juan Pierre proved why he was the MVP of these 2003 Marlins, not the superstar likes of Ivan Rodriguez or Mike Lowell.

THIS is why baseball is the greatest sport. ANYTHING, and I mean anything, is possible.

Unbelievable. I just can't believe it.

MARLINS 2003 WORLD SERIES CHAMPS!!! CONGRATS- YOU EARNED IT!!!

IM NOT EVEN GOING TO TRY TO DESCRIBE WHAT HAS HAPPENED

BECAUSE WORDS CANT.....IM JUST SO HAPPY IM SPEECHLESS I JUST HAVE TO THINK ABOUT THIS.

If something goes wrong, so will I! :lol

I have never seen Beckett pitch so good in this Post season. He pitched like a Randy Johnson maybe better! My guess- J.Beckett MVP

WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one gave them a chance down 3-1 facing Wood and Prior but they never gave up.

No one gave them a chance against the Yankees and THEY DID IT !!!!!

My dad just handed me a beer and said, "you earned this for sticking with this team all year."

Gotta love it.

AMAZING!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I can't believe it, but after seeing how amazing this team is, I can. :D

Big ups from Chicago for you all!

Congratualations on your team's championship!

The Marlins beat the Cubs and Yankees, you are an inspiration for all White Sox fans, I hope next year we can experience what you have this year!

Party like there is no tomorrow everyone! :hat

Question: Who will Steinbrenner try to kick next? Joe Torre?

Hopefully no one. I must admit that I am a Yankees fan in addition to being a Marlins fan, so this series was actually very tough to watch. I felt a greater connection with the Marlins, as I have seen a great deal of them play in Portland. It was very strange that I saw Josh Beckett throw his first AA pitch, and a couple years later the last pitch of the World Series - simply astounding.

Back to the question: It is hard to say what George is going to do. Hopefully he'll cool off before trying to think about next year. I don't believe there is anyone more suited for the Yankees than Joe.

i am covered in beer.....

amazing.

all I could find was skim milk, but it does the job.
