Isiah Thomas should have been sent packing years ago. Worse GM in the NBA! The Knicks will suck for the next 4-5 years . The Heat will back in the hunt next season We don't even need the #1 draft pick. The team is entirely improved by getting Rose as their PG. A healthy DW and 1-2 F/A

Is there any chance Michael Beasley can play C in the NBA? Maybe if he grows an inch or two before the draft? I would feel alot better about taking him if he could move to the 5 since we have two very good options at SF and PF.

Men grow until 21 so he can definitely get 1 or 2 more inches (see Dorrell Wright from age 19 to 20). But he's been playing a combo forward position thus far and to teach him the center (he'd be undersized regardless) might untrack his progress.

I like him as a PF and I don't care if UD has to be 6th man, that's what will happen. And the good news is that we CAN play with a Marion/UD/Beasley front court against most of the East anyway, and especially against the fast-paced West teams.

A Marion/UD/Beasley frontcourt of Wright/Marion/Beasley frontcourt would be fun to watch.

D Whistle, most overrated player in the NBA aside of Tracy McGriddles. Breaking down as well.

at least your knicks are making the playoffs this year! :thumbup

The heat will not win the lottery and IF Isiah gets fired, the Knicks will be in contention faster then the Heat. The heat won a championship because David Stern had to protect a young star who is fading now. All those calls DWhistle got was just terrible, you're a blind homer if you don't realize that your ship' is tainted.

The Knicks are one of the 2 only NBA teams who played in their original city and have a great history. Nuff said'. No need to get ignorant now.

The Knicks are a total joke that hasnt won an NBA title in 35 years, a playoff game in 8 years, has the worst Front Office in the game, and is 1 tainted Draft Lottery from being completely irrelevant over the last 20+ years.

Top notch FA? Chances are the two best FAs that would be on the market, Elton Brand and Ron Artest are going to exercise their optons. And f*** Pat Riley. This is the same douche that fired Stan Van (yes, he fired him, that family time excuse was total BS) and took over for a team that won a tainted championship. I'm pretty sure that DWhisle would of gotten the same calls that he did with Stan Van as the coach then Riley.

Go educate yourself bro, dont be ignorant. How many ecf appearances? How many final appearances? How many hall of famers have played on this team?

And the heat are more relevant then the Knicks over the last 20+ years. New York is the mecca of basketball you fool. The heat, hell all of you miami scum are nothing but fair weather fans. Just look at attendance numbers, it's pretty laughable. The Marlins have like 5 fans, hell there are games with god damn $1 tickets. The heat, 2 years removed from a title, do they even count in the NBA? Hell, they probably can't beat UNC. And your "superstar" is breaking down as we speak.

#1. New York is the mecca of basketball on the streets, not at MSG

#2. The Heat will be right back in contention next year and will win another title before the Knicks.

#3. The Marlins may only have 5 fans, but they have just as many titles as the Mutts

#1. One of two original NBA teams, NUFF SAID.

#2. Heat will be in contention? that's pretty much laughable. Look at your TEAM. DWade isnt half the player he's made out to be. He shouldnt be mentioned in the same breath with LeBron and Kobe because if it was their team, they would have SO Much more then 11 wins. I really doubt the heat will be in championship contention anytime soon, with the likes of Mark Blount and Udonis haslem in your front court.

#3. I agree. The mets have been bad in stretches but I really think we will be in the running for a championship as long as Wright and Reyes are in Mets unis.

#4. Trolling? GTFO, I contribute on every board. Don't be mad at me because the Heat suck and the Marlins traded their best player.

Give me a break! By Star's reasoning, I guess Cincinnati is the mecca of baseball. Face facts: The Knicks haven't been relevant in the NBA since Ewing left, and even with Ewing they never won jack sh*t. The Knicks don't matter right now, and have not mattered for a long time. That is fact. Who cares that they were an original team?

And yea, Miami fans in general suck. So what? How does that make a difference to the product we put on the field/court? The Heat suck right now too, but at least they have actually won something in your lifetime.

For real, what a punk. Coming here talking smack like if the knicks had won ANYTHING in the recent past. Pathetic.

#1. Nobody gives a sh*t that they're one of two original NBA teams.

#2. D-Wade still isn't 100% from his injury and even so he's still putting up pretty much the same numbers. If the Heat is able to get either Beasley or Rose in the draft, a lineup that includes Wade, Beasley/Rose, and Shawn Marion should be enough to get them in the playoffs. BTW they already have 1 championship with Udonis in the front court.

#3. The old ass Mets ain't gonna be winning anything anytime soon. Even with the addition of Santana, the rest of the rotation is still pretty crappy and the Marlins will end their season again.

#4. Yes, you are a troll. Stop living on message boards and get a life.

oh yes, I post probably once every 5 days here. I really live on this forum, well that's irrelevant in this argument.

1. That's history numb nuts.

2. Yeah, and even if he was 100% you'd be lying to yourself if you think he hasn't lost explosiveness and obviously he's VERY injury prone. How are you so sure that beasley or rose are both coming out (even though they probably will) and how do you know the heat are going to get a top 2 pick? The worst NBA record has won the lottery once in the past 7 years I believe. You had Shaq during your 1 championship year and DWhistle got every phantom call. Haslem is average at best.

3. Now your just saying it to say it. The mets have undoubtedly a top 5 rotation in baseball. We add the best pitcher in baseball, a lefty in his prime. Pedro is now healthy, and we have 2 15 game winners who are in their mid 20s. El Duque is a dinasour and Pelfrey is inconsistent, i'll give you that but we were still 16-8 in the games El Duque started.

4. I'm not a troll.

yes the knicks are irrelevant, top 7 every year in total league attendance damn near every year since they have existed. There is no denying that we are terrible and will continue to suck until Isiah Thomas is fire but you're lying to yourself if you don't think that the Knicks aren't a marquee franchise in the NBA. Imagine if we were actually mediocre, we'd probably lead the league in attendance. And trust me, anything is possible in the NBA for a team to get better especially in the east. It'l take luck and a GM with a plan. Just look at Portland, luck and a GM with a plan. Hell even Ainge, that squeal got lucky when McHale threw him KG. If the Knicks get a new GM, Colangelo or Kiki, hell I'd take Walsh, id fully expect us to be back in contention within 3-5 years.

2. He's still a great player but come on now. This is not the same guy from 2005-2006. He has lost a step, his jumpshot is still erratic and he averages damn near 5 turnovers a game. I like DWhistle but he isnt the same player since the title run because he's too injury prone and he doesnt have a good enough jumpshot to change his game.

3. Yes he's so average. Did you know that his ERA was 2 runs less then the league average last year? Even after being 1 year removed from rotator cuff surgery? He's only going to be greater as he gets healthier.

Your Knicks are history! get over it already who gives a flying f8ck if they are an orginal team?? NOONE!!!!!!! When they can win a championship than you can talk all you want! For now its 35 years and COUNTING!!!!

Im guessing you keep talking about D-wade because you along with all you morons in NY wished you guys had 1/2 the player he is!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYY338_JgvI

:lol :lol :lol :lol 19 fu*kin wins!! Yup alot of sh*t talkin and nothing shown on the court!! Marbury is a joke along with all your Ny teams

Doods, why are we even bothering over this? We are only 2 years removed from our championship; our best player is hurt, and we are going through a rebuilding season. There's no one in the league who could call the Heat a pathetic organization, or criticize Pat Riley (although some of his moves have been questionable), and much less, talk smack about DWade. Now for the Knicks, well, all of these arguments could be successfully defended. So lets not waste too much breath over this, shall we?

Now, back to the topic, I can't wait to see a healthy Wade play in the Olimpics and take us back to the playoffs next season. It will happen.

I can't wait to see a healthy Wade play in the Olimpics .

I wish he would skip that sh*t.

ditto...its not like the olympic team is hurting for talent

And the heat are more relevant then the Knicks over the last 20+ years. New York is the mecca of basketball you fool. The heat, hell all of you miami scum are nothing but fair weather fans. Just look at attendance numbers, it's pretty laughable. The Marlins have like 5 fans, hell there are games with god damn $1 tickets. The heat, 2 years removed from a title, do they even count in the NBA? Hell, they probably can't beat UNC. And your "superstar" is breaking down as we speak.

lol what does that have to do with anything?

typical thug new york garbage posting, i hear the cool kids get pushed off into the river with bricks attached to their shoes. you should join them.

Lol, he ain't no "thug". That little wiener couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag.
