Manny Corpas just signed a deal, years 5-7 (where Gregg would be), is $17.5 million (this is with options, but the pay level is set). I'll be stunned if Gregg is a Marlin August 1st.

April 8, 200818 yr I wouldnt consider Gregg a dominating closer but he has been an effective closer for the marlins , and unless the marlins are blown away with an offer I would be inclined to keep him as long as we can , so we dont have to worry about yet another hole to fill and win more games
