Nny
Other thing that concern me greatly: High GB%, low LD% if his LD% doesn't pick up, me = worried on the flip side, many do think it will It's only been 4 weeks. I need more than that to begin any alarm or concern. he's been in the minors for over two years, not 4 weeks. :thumbup Has his low ld% always been like that? I was assuming you were talking about this year. Yep 2006: 163/25/71 GB/LD/FB ratio 2007: 128/26/70 Most top specs have a LD% around 20%. his is around 10%. His GB% of 60 is just insane
EricWiener
I am skeptical about him anyhow, but the best indicators will be to see if, next year, he will draw walks and hit doubles, because they are more indicative of future MLB hitting. Erick
He might struggle early on, but I still have confidence he'll develop nicely. All the K's goes well with the current Marlins. Uggla needs a guy to stay competitive with, perhaps.
LordMagnus
I see McPherson has three strike outs today but he also has seven home runs. I wonder what his strike out numbers are?

EricWiener
As so eloquently replied by benched in another thread, all you have to say about that is: PCL Park effects did not have him draw 12 walks. Though I am not going to think he's ready until his doubles increase, because PCL HRs have a habit of being MLB flyball outs.
