Teal Shadow 2007
This is the one guy who would help put the Marlins into that elite category, and "IF" this ship continues to sail upwards. Then this is the perfect move.
geemoney
This is the one guy who would help put the Marlins into that elite category, and "IF" this ship continues to sail upwards. Then this is the perfect move. Would the Brewers really get rid of him? And what would be the cost, in terms of players to trade and money-wise to sign? I mean, this would give us the one true ace we need, but.....
CYmarlins
they might get rid of him if they arent close before the trading deadline. i dont see Sheets being with the Brewers next year.

MarlinsMS_35
To expensive. He's making 12 million this year. Also, the Brewers would never let him go.
Chasecdt
What about Rich Harden? He has the best stuff kind of like Santana. If we could get him and if he stayed healthy we would definitely make the playoff.
LordMagnus
I think we have enough players who are injury risks. Again, I think you are better off getting another veteran leader like Greg Maddux. He's much cheaper and he's still pitching decently to get six quality innings a start. And of course, he has a WEALTH of information and experience. Granted, Maddux would probably be a one year player, but I don't see the Marlins keeping someone like Sheets past one year either.
MiamiMarlins1
This is the one guy who would help put the Marlins into that elite category, and "IF" this ship continues to sail upwards. Then this is the perfect move. Too risky and it would take too much to get him. I wouldn't want to give up any of our young pitchers for him, and that is exactly what the Brewers would be looking for
mk613
i'd love to get Harden but what would he cost us? low level prospect sure. One of our top pitching prospects and i'd be very hesitant.
Psycho Sid
I just don't think it's worth the gamble on either Sheets or Harden considering their injury history, especially Harden. At least Sheets was able to string together 3 years of 30+ starts.
