May 26, 200818 yr That isn't reporting, that's a column. Same difference, it is still a piece of bias garbage that was published. From a journalism major, there is a big difference. Columns are bound to have bias in them (after all, it is the opinion of the writer). Reporting isn't supposed to.
May 26, 200818 yr OK, i am sorry, for offending you, i am not a journalism major, LOL, the truth is that it is still a bunch of hot garbage.
May 26, 200818 yr WTF is the Star Ledger? Might as well be a high school bi-monthly pamphlet. Yeah, it's crap but nevertheless linked to ESPN.com where lots of people including, hopefully, the Marlins will see it.

The Marlins are getting SP inning in May. The team ERA is also top half in May. The team OBP is up despite missing perhaps our best OBP player to injury. Also, the Marlins have much more OBP than the suck-ass Mets. EDIT: I am speaking of the May OBP.

His stats were right on. Wish I could say the same about yours. The Mets have a higher OBP than the Marlins.

May 26, 200818 yr I for one cant wait till the Johan Santana-Andrew Miller matchup, cause im pretty sure wer gonna get the games b4 and after that I remember DVH saying yesterday that it was going to be Miller-Santana but looking at the Mets site... it says Miller Vs. TBA. So.. it's either an error or Santana isn't pitching.. I really don't know.

Let me see if I can find it.

Then your "though he is not entitled to his own facts." statement makes no sense. In what sense was he cherry picking stats any more than you are?
May 26, 200818 yr "Sources say his shoulder showed some wear and tear, which is not unusual for a pitcher of Santana's age. This is not to say Santana is not an effective pitcher now, but all of this information makes you wonder how effective he will remain during the course of his multiyear deal... Said an AL scout who has seen Santana this month: 'His stuff isn't even close to what it was [with the Twins].'" MLB Trade Rumors http://www.nysportsday.com/themofo2/new-yo...re-santana.html
May 26, 200818 yr Then your "though he is not entitled to his own facts." statement makes no sense. In what sense was he cherry picking stats any more than you are? He's stating that the bullpen will collapse because the starters aren't going deep enough, but except for Badenhop, the starters are no longer regularly leaving in the 4th. He's cherry-picking yesterdays news. If he wants he can talk about the Mets from this time last year.
May 26, 200818 yr Author It all boils down to one thing, three nights from now when the Marlins leave New York Graziano will either have something to crow about or he'll be eating it.
May 26, 200818 yr Randolph say this because he know if their lose series he gone he think he can win 2 of 3 game
May 26, 200818 yr It all boils down to one thing, three nights from now when the Marlins leave New York Graziano will either have something to crow about or he'll be eating it. As a Marlins fan, I think he eats it anyways.

MLB Trade Rumors http://www.nysportsday.com/themofo2/new-yo...re-santana.html I saw the TBA thing on the Marlins web site and was wondering about it. This article is just talking about his long term stability, not Tuesday's game. But maybe you are onto something, Holly.
May 27, 200818 yr Author Well the team is a third of the way towards making Willie eat his words. I can hardly wait to read what Graziano in the Star-Ledger has to say tomorrow :brigginbounce
May 27, 200818 yr As long as we beat the Mets, I don't care what they say. Actions speak much more highly than words, and our fish crushing their pathetic hope of going to the playoffs last year far surpasses anything anyone on the Mets can possibly say. If you do say such things, you need to actually back them, which Willie Randolph didn't. I believe a man called Hanley once sayed "f*** everyone on the Mets, I'm going to kick their asses tomorrow" and this god amongst men actually acted on his words.

May 27, 200818 yr http://youtube.com/watch?v=Ykn6hFidmBw So true. 3:27 - 4:03.....not surprising from an organization with about as much class as Courtney Love.
