Some people have no idea about this game... You don't send a team that has ZERO offense that could use Jacobs regardless of our need for a catcher, for just Molina. Nonetheless Jacobs AND a top prospect in Ryan Tucker. I might consider sending Tucker or VandenHurk and another for Molina. That's ABOUT it. We've been over this before - Jacobs is easily replaceable from within our organization. We're not losing anything if he goes. Of course he's replaceable... But if you know anything about Admin Beinfest, it's that he gets his money's worth. He won't trade Jacobs for Molina, for the simple fact that we're giving away too much for too little. He'd rather stay put than do that. If Jacobs is involved in any deal for Molina, you can bet we're getting more than just that.

He is a below average defensive first baseman with average offensive numbers.

July 29, 200818 yr How exactly is De La Cruz useless? He throws 100 mph and has been very good in the minors. He's only 24. It's fine if you want to trade him. But please don't call him useless. He at the very least will have a nice future in our bullpen. Read closely, I know its hard to understand because I wrote it pretty late... but I was refering to if the Marlins are going to make a push for it... De La Cruz is not going to be on our team if we are trying to win the world series...
