It make sense if the team wasn't in it, and were sellers, but when you're trying to win a division, it makes absolutely no sense at all.

And then you trade a guy like Jacobs for BULLPEN, helping to fill the hole left by Gregg. I don't see either of these guys coming back with the team, and its bad to not get value for them. Obviously, they would have to be the right deals.

Trade Gregg J Miller and Maybe even Mitre there all in there final year of there contract and also maybe trade gonzo because he might retire Even Dino and fredo are on there last year but we have people to fill in for them I HOPE
July 29, 200818 yr We can't trade Gregg. We need him for our playoff push. We can't trade Cody. We need him in CF. We can't replace either one of these guys right now w/ the market being as it is. We can, however, part w/ Jacobs w/ out disrupting the integrity of the team. Helms could easily replace Jacobs at first while at the same time us picking up either a reliever or a catcher.
