It would be nice to sweep it's probably not going to happen, but after watching the Phillies beat a really sorry Cardinals team barely I wouldn't be surprised if we took 2 of 3. Lets get a win off of Moyer. btw, we have 9 games left with the Phillies no worries right now. Need to get it done though. :gofish

August 4, 200817 yr If we beat Moyer, we will have a good chance. I say we concentrate on beating Moyer and then going on to win the second game of the series. I think it is important to win the front end of the series. Maybe then we can pull of the sweep, but the beating Moyer is very important, I feel.

He's saying that if we have a 50:50 chance of winning each game, we would have a 12.5% chance of winning all three. He did'nt take into account though the starting pitchers, line-up, etc...

August 4, 200817 yr I'd say there is more of a chance of Moyer being struck by lightning tonight than him being pinned with the Loss tomorrow. That being said, there's a better chance of Moyer getting his first no-decision against the Fish tomorrow. Baby steps...especially if they won't change their approach against him.
