August 24, 200817 yr Author Life doesn't get any easier for them either. They have 1 more with the astros, then 2 with the phils and then 3 with us. If we play well in atl and the phils can take two from the Mets it should tighten up the race just in time for us to play them.

August 24, 200817 yr good surprise when i got home to see that we won then i went to check on the mets who i knew had a 4-3 but lost was very nice

Not only do the Mets have to lose, but the Phillies have to lose as well during this same time period, which I think it would be kinda unlikely to have two teams slump at the same time and our team skyrocket. Of course, we can always hope and pray.

I know this is crazy talk sparked by winning a series, but depending on how hot if we get, if we were to take 4 of those 6 we'll be in pretty good shape.

That might be a problem, if we didnt face them. Ive pretty much given up hope, but the more I think of it its not hope, its more or less that buzz of us being right in the mix of it. Now we are just so far out looking in. Its possible, a doubt, though lets hold on. We 100% hold our own fate in our hands right now. We face both the Phillies and the Mets. This is the reason the Panthers cant make the playoffs. The Marlins can do this though, control their own fate, one sweep of either/both the Philles and the Mets makes this whole thing a completely different picture. Im not in any way saying to get your hopes UP, but keep your heads up at least.
