Clay Buccholz threw one not so long ago...he's been crap since.

While Sanchez had a great 2nd half in '06, he's never shown to have GREAT control (even in '06). With his stuff after this torn labrum...it's alarming.

For all the talk about Scott Olsen's stuff...Anibal's isn't great either. If it wasn't for their contracts...I'd easily rather have Olsen.

Anibal didn't even have great stuff before the torn labrum. He's always been the type of pitcher who relies heavily on control, and when he doesn't have it...he gets rocked.

 

ya but anibal had a much better season than olsen has ever had. i thik its just the surgery but yea he doesnt have great stuff. however, i think anibal, overall, has much better control than olsen, anibal just has to pitch more

 

In '06, he had 46 walks in 114 innings.

That's one walk every 2.48 innings. He's never really had very good control.

 

so what does the era below 3 tell you about anibal and the era above 4 tell you about olsen?
