April 26, 200917 yr maybin needs to stop striking out. i know it's early but he struck out 3 more times today. he needs to be moved in the leadoff spot and see if he can do better there. if not then we're in trouble because we have not reliable outfielder to take his place he was lead off today.

For a little bit in Pitt he looked to be coming around and early in this series. Today he looked lost like he can't decide to swing or not.
April 26, 200917 yr Early on I was hopeful they'd put Maybin in the leadoff spot for a while just to get him more involved, but he hasn't really looked comfortable this season yet so hard to say what the answer is...
April 26, 200917 yr I expect to win the rest of our games the rest of the season. And our bullpen doesn't allow a run the rest of the season, with Bonifacio and Maybin batting 1.000 the rest of the season, and Cody Ross wins the Cy Young.

April 27, 200917 yr man I'm glad I overslept. kinda wished I could have seeing cody pitch though. Cant say I didn't see it coming
April 27, 200917 yr Yeah I'd perfer the 2 and 3 game winning streaks. I can't handle 7 losses in a row. Well Cody looked good at the plate and on the mound today. Hopper had some good movement on his pitches. Hanley and dan both seem to be coming around as well. Hermi had a tough day. Man a sweep of the mets would be great but I'll take 2 of three and I'd love for jj to beat santana again. Meta fans will go nuts. Also for anyone who watching baseball tonight or mlbn what are they saying about us now? I can't bare to watch. Understatement. LOL The error is an indication he is still getting used to playing that wall. The other mishap... I was having a heck of a time tracking those OF pop ups. Alot of times completely losing them. And it wasn't just the sky. There is something about the glare in this stadium. For day games it is a very tough OF to play. Anyone that thinks that is making excuses for the players needs to go sit in the OF near field level during a day game and try it out. Granted, we aren't pro athletes, but those guys down there with the uniforms on aren't on some video game either. They are human.

He didnt seem to get that many good reads on the ball of the bat.
