May 1, 200916 yr He's doing alright tonight, nothing special. Congratulations to Michel Hernandez on his first career home run.
May 1, 200916 yr DAMN! And let me just take this opportunity to say: f*** red sox fans. No class, at all. (I KNOW, they're in TB but there's still a number of Sox fans...)

Instead, when the no hitter gets broken up, they cheer frantically as if they just won the World Series. No class.

And I'm not really a Red Sox fan. Guess I'm a no class Marlins fan, but I can't see someone cheering for their team to get no hit being a classy fan. :thumbdown  Would you cheer for your team losing?

Not losing, no, but the no hitter yes. It's much different... In the 170 years of Baseball how many no hitters have there been? Less than 300. Randy Johnson's perfect game in Atlanta - fans were going nuts. Good example, imo..
May 4, 200916 yr it is always polite to cheer the pitcher who threw a no hitter going into the late innings. Baseball etiquitte goes a long way, folks
May 8, 200916 yr Not sure if you were talking about that game or just him in general but.. He has the lowest BABIP in baseball... His numbers should inflate and even out later... He's usually sub- 9 h/9, but it should continue like 24 hits in 41 innings. (5.3 per 9). Maybe effectively wild?? He's been much more wild than usual at 3.7 BB/9.
